Often, I find many parents are like I was, unfamiliar with how early childhood experiences and in utero experiences have deeply affected how our children have developed their attachments. Attachments are the emotional bonds that hold people together. When people are connected with each other over time in a trusting relationship, healthy attachments can form. Unfortunately for many of our children, early attachment trauma has wounded their ability to trust. Brain science and attachment theory have given us a roadmap to help our children recover the ability to attach and to trust.
As a TBRI practitioner, I collaborate with families using a brain-based, attachment-rich lens to understand how to apply the principles of empowering, connecting and correcting to find hope and joy again.
Our families are the most important relationships in our lives. I’d love to meet your’s and lend a hand through the challenges that they often bring.
